Impetus, pronounced as “im-pet-us”, was created in the Fall of 2006.
Why the name Impetus? Allister and Jodie have a passion for performance and the romance of the turn of the century magicians like Keller, Houdini, and Thurston.
They chose Impetus because of its meaning; in Latin it is translated as passion, in English it is defined as a compelling force.
