Some History...

Impetus Magic was formed in the Fall of 2006. The company was created by Allister Denton and his partner, Jodie Nichols as a means to channel their creativity and desire to entertain the masses. Impetus' modest beginning was founded in street performing and since then has grown into the well established company it is today, providing quality entertainment across the big blue world.

Here Are Some of Our Show Details:

Impetus's ninety minute show is family friendly with an adult bend. While kids are laughing at the antics, the adults will be the ones that truly appreciate the humour, and amazement; but then, amazement is universal and spans all ages. ;)
Boasting a plethora of illusions and sketch bits, Impetus can accommodate events in need of shorter or longer performances and intermissions can also be added or removed as requested.
We love involving our audiences. From our comical crowd warm-ups at the beginning of the show, to the audience committee for our grandest illusion, we keep the people feeling like they are apart of the show. We don't talk to our audiences, we share a give and take relationship. They get a performance to remember and comment on for years to come; we get to perform!

Different Shows

Fair shows are only part of our repertoire. Impetus also specializes in intimate adult functions and corporate events but when it comes to theatres, we pull out the big guns.
But don't you worry Fair folk, we still give you your bang for your buck. It simply comes down to the fact: some illusions need a theatre. But we'll speak no more of that or you will be bound to secrecy!
